The Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale is a Christian outreach which is the home of Lifetree Café, Grief Share, Redemmer’s Closet, and a place for community gatherings. The Center is located at 4019 Main Street Slatedale, PA,18079 Our mission is “Love each other as I have loved you” – Jesus (John 15:12).
Helping Hands Food Ministry: This ministry distributes food to food banks, food ministries, Children’s food programs, Senior food programs, community dinners, Backpack programs, all to show the love of Christ to all who receive.
Redeemer’s Closet: A place for those in need to shop and find clothing that they are in need of at no cost. This shop is open on the third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to Noon, located in the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale. All are welcome to come and take whatever is needed from kids to adults.
Lifetree Café: An hour-long, interactive video experience featuring real people’s real stories, biblical insights, and plenty of time for deep conversation. Each Lifetree Café program is built to naturally lead the group into discussions about the topics and issues they face in everyday life, all while revealing important truths about God. By creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere, in which to produce the fertile soil needed to guide people into the meaningful spiritual conversations they crave. Lifetree is held every Saturday night at 6 p.m. at the Helping Hands Community Center of Slatedale.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. This group meets on Tuesday at 10AM in the Helping Hands Community Center Of Slatedale
